Post Snagging Inspections

After completion your house builder will ask you to compile a snagging list, this will have a requirement to complete in a number of days. This could be between 7 days and 60 days.

Once they have this list they will agree which items are their duty to correct this and then arrange convenient times with you. Some house builders make the process very simple and are helpful and some are the opposite.

This is where our post snagging inspections come into their own. We complete another full home inspection comparing our findings not only against your original post completion inspection but also against NHBC (National House Building Council) guidelines to make sure your house builder has completed everything they should have.

By having these three inspections it shows a complete audit trail from pre completion, post completion and post snagging  and will highlight any missing work that needs rectifying by your house builder.

At the unfortunate event you do have to contact the NHBC or any warranty companies it helps to have all this documentary evidence.
